Even though it will be agonizingly painful and against your nature to do so. It is important that you save your precious psychological energy.

I only watched the beginning and the end of the Oscars, and in that small viewing window, K-Pop Demon Hunters won Best Animated Film and Best Score. Which is fitting. The movie is deeper than it sounds. Sure, it's silly and there's plenty of fluff. But in addition to catchy tunes, it also has a powerful message that relates to all of us. Many people think self-care is indulging yourself with bubble baths, spa visits, and getting your eyebrows waxed. It's not. I mean, maybe a bubble bath and a massage can be part of a self-care routine, but it's much more basic and essential than that. It is not pampering. It is necessary for survival.
